Yup, that's true.

"You will keep in perfect peace him whose mind is steadfast, because he trusts in you. Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord, the Lord, is the Rock eternal." - Isaiah 26:3-4

I've been looking at this verse as my bookmark for a few weeks. And I think my favorite part is where it repeats "for the Lord, the Lord..." because when the Bible repeats a word or phrase, it is emphasizing that certain part. So "the Lord", a phrase I might otherwise not pay much attention to, is highlighted. It's not just ....the Lord.... it's, THE LORD... what does that mean? Well think about the word "Lord"=someone with power and authority. But not just some power and a little authority... not just "a" lord... but THE Lord. THE highest possible possession of power and authority that there is. mmm... how comforting a phrase like "the Lord" is to hear. He IS the Rock eternal. Makes me give up all my fleeting efforts that come from not trusting. It's kind of one of those verses you can't say much about except to say... Yup... that's true, and then to sit in that truth.
